Privacy Policy

The short version: today, again. stores your planner data on your device only. We do not have a backend, we do not create user accounts, and we do not sell or share your personal information. The only external service we use is Google Fonts to load typefaces.
1. Who we are
today, again. is a gentle daily planner app operated by LifeReadyZA, based in South Africa. The app is available at lifereadyza.com/planner and through the Google Play Store and Microsoft Store.

2. What data we collect — and what we don't

3. How your planner data is stored
All planner content — your three things, time blocks, spark moments, mood and energy entries — is saved in your browser or app's local storage using the Web Storage API and IndexedDB. This data:
- Never leaves your device.
- Is not backed up to any server operated by us.
- Will be deleted if you clear your browser data, uninstall the app, or reset the app's storage.
We recommend using your device's own backup facilities (e.g. iCloud, Google Backup, or Windows Backup) to protect your data.
4. Cookies and local storage
We do not use tracking cookies. The app uses browser-native storage (localStorage and IndexedDB) solely to save your planner data between sessions. No advertising cookies are set.
Our service worker caches app assets (JavaScript, CSS, images) on your device so the planner works offline. These cached files contain no personal data.
5. Third-party services
Google Fonts — We load typefaces (Inter, Playfair Display, Caveat) from Google's font servers. When your browser downloads these fonts, Google receives your IP address and browser's user-agent string. Google's use of this data is governed by the Google Privacy Policy.
We use no advertising networks, analytics platforms, social media trackers, or other third-party data processors.
6. App store purchases
If you purchase today, again. through the Google Play Store or Microsoft Store, the purchase is processed entirely by Google or Microsoft respectively. We receive confirmation that a purchase was made but do not receive your payment card details, billing address, or any financial information. Those stores' own privacy policies apply to the purchase transaction.
7. Push notifications
The app can send you optional daily reminders (e.g. "Time for your three things"). These are local notifications scheduled on your device — they are not sent via a third-party push server. You can disable notifications at any time through your device's notification settings.
8. Children's privacy
today, again. is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has used the app and you have a concern, please contact us at privacy@lifereadyza.com.
9. Your rights
Because we do not collect personal data on our servers, there is typically nothing for us to retrieve, correct, or delete on your behalf. Your planner data is yours, stored on your device, and you can delete it at any time by clearing the app's storage.
If you are in the European Economic Area, you have rights under the GDPR including access, rectification, and erasure. If you are in South Africa, you have rights under POPIA (Protection of Personal Information Act, Act 4 of 2013). In both cases, contact us at privacy@lifereadyza.com and we will respond within 30 days.
10. Data retention
We do not retain personal data on our servers. Server access logs (which may contain IP addresses) are retained for a maximum of 7 days for security and operational purposes, then automatically deleted.
11. Changes to this policy
If we make material changes to this policy, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this page periodically. Continued use of the app after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
